Ron Cole's "Ultimate Zero" released in late 2006 after being
long delayed in Japan.
Depicts three A6M5 Zeros of the 221 Kokutai in 1944 flying
in formation. The 221st was known for its uniquely
field-modified long-range Zero fighters - fitted with dual
outboard drop tanks liberated from Army stocks. This print
depicts the resulting variations: with both Nakajima and
Mitsubishi built Zeros, one field modified A6M, and an A6M5c
with increased armament.
